April Hesselbein

Mrs. Hesselbein - Fourth Grade

                                                                                    May 2019
My name is April Hesselbein.  I just completed my 25th year of teaching and the last 17 years have been here at The Anthony School.  I have wonderful, supportive husband, 2  children and 3 grandchildren. My family enjoys spending time in Hot Springs on Lake Ouachita, where my husband and I grew up.  We love boating, swimming, fishing and taking sunset cruises.
In addition to having a 4th grade homeroom, I teach science and reading to 4th graders and also teach science to 5th graders. TAS students are so excited to learn! Each school year I look forward to seeing the upcoming 5th graders and meeting the new 4th graders.  It is always a fun to observe how much growth that a beginning 4th grader makes over the 2 years that I have them in my class.  I love teaching in such a positive environment with supportive parents, co-teachers, and administrators.  I look forward to another successful school year!
