Athletic Director

Athletic Director

As far back as I can remember I have always had a passion for athletics and sports competition. I love to promote and share my love of sports with all of those involved with the various athletic programs at The Anthony School. The Anthony School is prepared to perform all of the duties and responsibilities that athletics requires with diligence and integrity in order to provide the best possible athletic experience.

There are demands of an academic and athletic schedule that coincide in the season for students. Student athletes are students first and athletes second. One of the most beneficial elements of being a student athlete – outside of the values and lessons learned in the arena of play – are the aspects of time management and prioritizing which each individual must manage on a daily basis when participating in extra-curricular sports.

Participation in TAS athletics teaches students about physical effort, leadership, cooperation, concentration, and grace under pressure. Our student athletes will be challenged to work hard, improve both on and off the playing arena, and have fun in the process. They will gain confidence by reaching farther than they believed they could and will feel pride in accomplishing things together as a group… things that would never be possible to accomplish alone.

It will not be long until our seasons begin. Volleyball, Cross Country, and Tennis open their seasons in the fall. The winter season hosts Middle School cheerleading and basketball for 3rd-8th grades. The year is completed with Soccer, Golf, and Track.

It should be an exciting year in athletics for The Anthony School Panthers. We encourage our students to participate in as many sports as they wish.
