A heart safe school is a school recognized by the Project ADAM program for implementing a quality program that prepares the school community to respond to sudden cardiac arrest. School Nurse Mary Shannon assembled a team here at the school and then worked with Arkansas Children's to provide the preparation and training needed. On October 1st, the cardiac team at TAS underwent an onsite drill. With emergency planning and a fully trained response team, our campus is now ready to protect our Panthers.
