Admissions Process

Admissions Process

Thank you for your interest in The Anthony School. We look forward to getting to know your family and helping you explore whether TAS is the right fit for your child.

  • Schedule a personal tour.
Families begin the process by scheduling a one-on-one tour with our Admissions Office.
  • Complete the online application.
Submitting an application signals strong interest in The Anthony School but does not commit a family to enrollment.
    • Parents will list their child’s current teacher and provide an email address. Our system will automatically send a confidential recommendation form to the teacher.
    • Parents will also upload the following:
      • Updated immunization records
      • Psychological and/or educational evaluations, including speech, PT, or OT reports as well as diagnosed learning differences.

  • Submit school records.
Parents forward a Release of Records Request to the child’s current school. All relevant records should be sent directly to The Anthony School.

  • Schedule a shadow day (3rd–6th grade applicants).
Students applying for 3rd–6th grade participate in a shadow day, coordinated through the Admissions Office. During the shadow experience, students complete their entrance evaluation as part of the day.

  • Interview and skills assessment (2nd grade and below).
Applicants in 2nd grade and below participate in an interview and developmental/skills assessment.

  • Admissions Committee review.
The Admissions Committee meets periodically throughout the year to review completed applications and make enrollment decisions.
