Elementary

The Anthony School Elementary Program is both rigorous and developmentally appropriate, building on the strong foundation established in our Early Childhood Program. Our Elementary division includes Kindergarten through fourth grade and continues to nurture curiosity, independence, and a love of learning.

Grounded in our values of learning, character, individuality, and community, each school day is designed to help students grow academically and socially. Children learn to make thoughtful choices, exercise sound judgment, and develop the habits and skills that support success in school and in life.

Elementary Students at TAS

Our goal is simple: to know every student well, challenge them appropriately, and help them become confident, capable learners and kind members of their community.

Our Elementary students benefit from a rich schedule of daily and weekly enrichment classes that help nurture the whole child. In addition to core academics, students participate in physical education, STEAM, art, music, library, and world cultures & languages. Younger grades enjoy roller skating as part of their PE curriculum (Kindergarten–2nd grade), and all students engage in social-emotional learning. Beginning in 2nd grade, students also take Computer Science, building early skills in digital literacy, problem-solving, and responsible technology use.
