At most independent schools, tuition covers only a portion of the cost of educating students. At the Anthony School, The Annual Fund provides the financial support that bridges the gap between our tuition income and the actual operating expense of educating each student.
The 2009-2010 Annual Fund drive was the seventh Annual Fund campaign. In all seven years, 100% of the faculty and staff and 100% of the Board of Trustees have led the school community by making a gift, and 75% of our school families contributed last year. Annual Fund contributions have been used primarily for faculty development and to support and expand technology resources for students and faculty.
Annual Fund donations include both restricted and unrestricted gifts. Restricted donations are those dedicated by the donor for specific uses. In general, Annual Fund gifts have made it possible to plan ahead for faculty enhancements and continual renewal of up-to-date technology resources.
The 2010-2011 Annual Fund Campaign is off to a great start. Lou Anne & Eric Herget, parents of an 8th grade Anthony student, have enthusiastically agreed to chair this year's campaign. We need your help to make this another successful year for the Annual fund.
Coming soon! You can currently make your gift online through PayPal (click on "Ways to Give"), but coming soon you will be able to make your pledge online too! If you wish to make a pledge or gift to the Annual Fund by check you may stop by our office any time during school hours.
