Admissions
The Anthony School's procedure for admissions reflects the school's emphasis on individualized attention. Early Childhood applicants are interviewed; Elementary and Middle School applicants are evaluated to ensure proper placement in the school. Both the interview and evaluation are conducted individually with each applicant.
The early childhood interview takes about one hour. The educational evaluation of applicants for placement in first through eighth grades takes about two hours.
Parents wishing to enroll their child should complete an application form and return it to the office. An appointment will be scheduled for the prospective student's interview/evaluation and classroom visit. When the evaluation is completed, the director or assistant director will discuss with parents their child's test results and class placement.
Anthony School policies and procedures are based on the right of every student to learn and every teacher to teach in an atmosphere of mutual respect. Students are admitted to The Anthony School without regard for religion, ethnic origin, gender, mental and physical handicap, or any other consideration unrelated to educational excellence.
Individual tours are available daily. Please call 501-225-6629 to schedule your tour.
