Board of Trustees Bios

Debra H. Fiser, M.D. is an Arkansas native who obtained her undergraduate degree from the University of Arkansas in Fayetteville and received her medical degree from the UAMS College of Medicine. Dr. Fiser completed an internship and residency in pediatrics at the University of Kentucky School of Medicine and a critical care medicine fellowship at the University of Florida College of Medicine.  She earned board-certification in pediatrics and pediatric critical care medicine.

Dr. Fiser joined the faculty in the Department of Pediatrics of the UAMS College of Medicine in 1981 where she served as Chief of Pediatric Critical Care Medicine and as Director of the Pediatric Intensive Care Unit at Arkansas Children’s Hospital (ACH). In 1995 she was appointed Chair of the Department of Pediatrics at UAMS and Chief of Pediatrics at ACH and, in 2006, she was named UAMS Vice Chancellor and Dean of the College of Medicine. In 2013, she stepped down as Dean to return to teaching and research as Professor of Pediatrics.  In 2018, she retired from UAMS and was awarded the rank of Professor Emeritus.

Dr. Fiser has held national offices as President of the Association of Medical School Pediatric Department Chairs and as President of the pediatric section of the Society of Critical Care Medicine.  She is an elected member of Alpha Omega Alpha, the American Board of Pediatrics, the Society for Pediatric Research, and the American Pediatric Society and is a fellow of the American Academy of Pediatrics, the American College of Critical Care Medicine, and the American College of Chest Physicians.

She has won numerous national, state and campus awards, including the Women in Medicine Silver Achievement Award in 2001 from the Association of American Medical Colleges, Citizen of the Year from the March of Dimes in 2009, and the Distinguished Service Award from the UAMS College of Medicine in 2014.  She is a member of St. James United Methodist Church and also serves on the Board of Trustees of the United Methodist Foundation of Arkansas and as Secretary of the Board of Trustees for Philander Smith College.

Both of her children attended The Anthony School and a grandchild is now a student there.

Matthew Steliga M.D. is an Associate Professor of Surgery at the UAMS College of Medicine and W.P. Rockefeller Cancer Institute. Dr. Steliga received his undergraduate degree from Northwestern University and his medical degree from the Medical College of Wisconsin. He completed surgery residency at the University of Tennessee- Memphis, and fellowship training in cardiothoracic surgery at Texas Heart Institute and the MD Anderson Cancer Center in Houston.  Dr. Steliga has been on faculty at UAMS since 2009. Areas of clinical focus involve thoracic oncology and minimally invasive surgery while research interests include tobacco cessation, and quality improvement in cancer care. He teaches and mentors medical students and surgery residents, and serves on several committees including the College of Medicine Curriculum Committee.  Matthew and his wife Kelly have two daughters at The Anthony School.

Brandy Harp is a real estate agent with Jon Underhill Real Estate.  Brandy received her undergraduate degree in business from the University of Central Arkansas.  Prior to becoming a real estate agent, Brandy worked for 18 years at Alltel Communications where she last served leading Marketing and Advertising.  She maintains business certifications in project management and Six Sigma process development.  Brandy is a member of the Arkansas Children’s Hospital Auxiliary Board.  She has been a member of the Junior League of Little Rock for over a decade.  Brandy and her husband Richard have a son and a daughter at The Anthony School.  
 
Abby McKelvy, CPA is the Chief Financial Officer and Chief Compliance Officer for Foundation Resource Management, Inc., an investment advisory firm, where she has worked since 2001. Prior to joining FRM, Abby was employed with Deloitte & Touche as a Senior Auditor serving clients in industries such as insurance, public employee pension and retirement plans, governmental entities and non-profit organizations. Subsequent to her public accounting experience, She gained experience as a controller in the telecommunications industry. She received her Bachelor of Science in Business Administration from the University of Arkansas in 1996 and is a Certified Public Accountant. Abby and her husband Damon have two children - a son who is a 6th grader at The Anthony School and a daughter who is a freshman at Mount St. Mary Academy and a TAS graduate. Abby and Damon enjoy being involved in their children's schools and their church. 

Rick Adkins, CFP© serves as Past President of the Anthony Board of Trustees.  He is married to Maureen Adkins who has taught Music at The Anthony School for over 20 years. Their daughters, Sarah and Laura, both attended Anthony and Laura teaches in the 3-year old program at Anthony. Laura's daughters, Lily, is a Fifth Grader and Claire, is in the Four-Year Old Program at Anthony. Rick is President and CEO of The Arkansas Financial Group, Inc., an investment advisory firm that has provided fee-only, comprehensive financial planning advice since 1985. He received his Bachelors’ of Science degree in 1975 from Harding College, in Searcy, AR, and an MBA from the University of Mississippi in 1976, where he was inducted into the Beta Gamma Sigma and Omicron Delta Epsilon honor societies in business and economics. He holds the CFP© certification and the ChFC and CLU professional designations. He was admitted to the Registry of Financial Planning Practitioners in 1987. He has been included in Medical Economics Magazine's lists of "150 Best Financial Advisers for Doctors," Mutual Funds Magazine's lists of "100 Great Financial Planners" and Worth Magazine's lists of "The 250 Best Financial Advisers in America" on numerous occasions since 1995. Rick served on and chaired the Board of Governors of the Certified Financial Planner Board of Standards. Rick currently serves on the Arkansas Symphony Orchestra's Board of Directors, Executive Committee and Foundation Board. He is a Past Chair and serves on the Advisory Board of the Jones Eye Institute at the UAMS.

Charlotte Anderson is a fifth grade teacher in the Little Rock School District. She is a native of Little Rock; her family has held roots here for three generations.  Prior to her adventure into education, she assisted several attorneys at a large insurance defense firm for 16 years.  She received her undergraduate degree from the University of Arkansas at Little Rock.  Her previous community involvement includes serving with the Arthritis Foundation Southeast Chapter as well as many years with the Junior League of Little Rock.  Charlotte and her husband have two children who attend Anthony.

Cameryn Burch is the Learning Services Coordinator at Mount St. Mary Academy. She received her undergraduate in special education from the University of Mississippi. and a Masters in Reading with a Dyslexia Therapist endorsement at the University of Central Arkansas. Cameryn is also a Certified Child Life Specialist and works at Arkansas Children's Hospital. Other activities include being a member Junior League of Little Rock and serving on an alumni advisory board at Ole Miss. Cameryn graduated from The Anthony School in 2004. Her sister, father, aunt, uncle, and cousin are also graduates of The Anthony School.

Jonathan Looney was born and raised in Little Rock, Arkansas. He lives in the Hillcrest Neighborhood with the loves of his life-bride Hillary, six-year-old son James (1st), four-year-old son Miles (PreK4). Years ago, he discovered his passion for wine while enjoying a glass of chardonnay and listening to A Prairie Home Companion with great friends. Jonathan has earned accreditations from the International Sommelier Guild, The Society of Wine Educators, as well as the Wine and Spirits Education Trust of London. He is a Certified Specialist of Wine, a Certified Sommelier and possess the Advanced Certificate from WSET. As the owner of O’Looney’s Wine & Liquor, Jonathan spends his time consulting with his clients about their cellars and stocking the shop with a well-curated selection of wines, beer, and spirits. Jonathan enjoys his friends and family- and a great glass of wine.

GG Millard has been serving as a mortgage broker for 17 years, providing her with broad experience in the area of  loan requests.  She has three children at Anthony—one in kindergarten and twins in 3rd grade.  Her bachelor’s degree is in International Business from the University of Arkansas Little Rock, and she is currently one of Arkansas’s only two Military Mortgage Specialists.  Additionally, she is certified through the National Association of Mortgage Brokers as a Certified Residential Mortgage Specialist.

Mary Anne Seibert, Ph.D., is a clinical psychologist and has been the Director of Counseling Services at Hendrix College since 2002.  She earned her B.A. in Psychology from Hendrix in 1994, her M.A. in Clinical Psychology from the University of Southern Mississippi in 1998, and her Ph.D. in Clinical Psychology from the University of Southern Mississippi in 2001.   Mary Anne’s husband, Rob, graduated from The Anthony School in 1984.  They have two children, Zoe and Turner, who have attended The Anthony School since each was in Pre-K3.  Zoe graduated in 2018 and is a freshman at Little Rock Central High School.  Turner is a 7th grader at Anthony.

Andi Smith is an Arkansas native who obtained her BS in Speech Pathology and MSE in Early Childhood Special Education from the University of Central. She has worked as a development therapist for 20 years with 3-5 year olds in central Arkansas and is currently working for LRSD. Andi is a member of Pulaski Heights United Methodist Church and serves on the Nominations Committee, the Alter Guild, teaches the 3rd grade Sunday school class and annually volunteers with VBS.  Andi and her husband, Carey, live and Little Rock and have a 9 year old daughter who attends The Anthony School.

Jeremy Teeter, Carpool Chair of ParentCrew, was raised to value service and support those who cannot support themselves.  He is the father of Charlotte (a first grader at The Anthony School with a love of all things STEAM) and Owen (in the PreK3 program at The Anthony School who is still learning the ropes) and husband to Jenny (who may just be Superwoman).  Jeremy has a passion for the arts and technology and regularly volunteers for programs like TAS Steamapalooza and the EAST Initiative.  He is currently engaged in small business advocacy and utilizing his relationships and skills to affect public policy. 

Jonathan Wardlaw was born and raised in Little Rock and is a Landscape Architecture graduate from the University of Arkansas.  He worked in the landscape architecture field for a few years upon graduation and then started dabbling in real estate, which led him to real estate finance.  He worked as a loan officer and bank Vice President for 8 years. During this time, he and his wife, Babs, who is an Audiologist, took over a hearing service business, which they both currently operate full time.  In 2016, Jonathan also started a side project centered around the sport he loves.  He founded and manages the Little Rock Rangers Soccer Club, which is Little Rock’s minor league soccer team.  Jonathan and Babs currently have two children at The Anthony School:  Abe, who is in the 8th grade, and Murphy, who is in the 4th grade.

Jenny Holt Teeter, JD, President of ParentCrew, is a Director and Shareholder with Gill Ragon Owen, P.A.  Jenny received her undergraduate degree from Hendrix College where she graduated cum laude, with Distinction and received her Juris Doctorate from University of Arkansas at Little Rock School of Law.  Her law practice focuses on matters involving general employment law, regulatory compliance and general corporate and nonprofit law. Jenny enjoys working with nonprofit and educational organizations in her free time. She serves as Immediate Past Chair of the UAMS College of Health Professions Advisory Board and enjoys volunteering with the EAST Initiative. She is mother to Charlotte (6 years old and a first grader at The Anthony School) and Owen (3 years old and in PreK3 at The Anthony School). Jenny and her husband, Jeremy, live in Little Rock – minutes from The Anthony School!

Michelle Justus, MS, RD, LD, Vice President of ParentCrew has served on the ParentCrew board for the past several years in multiple roles.  She has two children, Jackson (7) and Shelby (5), and is married to Stafford.  Michelle attended the University of Southern Mississippi where she earned a BS in psychology.  Michelle moved to Little Rock in 1999 to attend graduate school at the University of Central Arkansas.  She earned a MS in counseling psychology and later earned a second MS degree in Family and Consumers Sciences with a specialty in Dietetics.  Michelle worked in public health policy for over twelve years serving as the Director of Disease Prevention Health Promotion at Arkansas Center for Health Improvement.  During her time working in public health she helped improve the lives of Arkansans through state and local policies related to health insurance, obesity, school health, tobacco use and healthcare quality.  In 2014, she became the Senior Data Analyst at the State Health Alliance for Records Exchange, where she oversees clinical data analytics for Arkansas’ Health Information Exchange.
