Volunteer Opportunities

In order to ensure a successful performance, we need a lot of help! Please let me know as soon as possible if you are available to help in any of the following areas:

Parent Help:  I need help with the following:


1. Set Design: This year I would love it if a parent could help me coordinate the set design. There are a few set changes and we need to be pretty creative with props, backdrops, etc. If you would like to "chair" this position, please let me know as soon as possible.

2. Publicity: Each year we have had a parent donate time and the cost of designing and printing a program. Several parents can work together on this- it can be as simple or as elaborate as you decide! I do have a "logo pack" which lets us have computer software to help design the tickets and programs. I would also like to have a raffle this year.

3. Props: We need the following items donated, lent, made or purchased:

Black light, bubble machines,  large trash can with wheels, brown satin fabric (lots), many, many chocolate bars, 5 pairs of goggles, 4 rocking chairs,  newspapers, a rolling cart, styrofoam and cellophane to make candy stage decorations, a Ken doll, a fake TV,  glass soda bottles-
I will probably come up with a few more as we go...


4. Ticket sales and backstage.  We need parents to volunteer to help backstage (crowd control!), and to sell tickets before the show.



5. T-Shirts:  For the past few years we have had T-shirts made for the cast and crew with the play logo  and the names of everyone involved.  If you would like to coordinate the sale and/or design of these, let me know
