August and September--2008

 

Students greet each other with Bonjour, and je m'appelle (name).

Students are introduced to the manner in which French speaking people greet each other. Some shake hands; other kiss on the cheeks.

Nationalities are introduced. Differences are noted for feminine and masculine forms of nationalities.

Students will learn to count to 20, and then on to 60.

Students are introduced to How are you? and possible answers to that questions.
