Current Events!Due Date:Many of you might have heard your child talking about a current event...but just what is, this current event and how do they do this assignment? * It is a news story assignment that deals with their chosen country for a month. They must find a news article, from a newspaper, or the internet. Wherever they find the news article, they must attach it to their given form. They are to read the article and then summarize it in at least 5 sentences.----------LAYOUT FOR CURRENT EVENT--------------All the information below needs to be included in a current event, PLUS the printed out article the student used. EVENT: (What is the article about?) INFORMACION: A) País - (country) B ) Población - (Population which can be found on CIA.GOV world factbook) C) Tipo de gobierno - (tyle of government, can also be found on CIA.GOV) BIBLIOGRAFÍA: Where did they find the article? (cnn.com, msnbc.com, etc) RESUMEN DEL ARTCULO: Summary of the article in at least 5 sentences or more!
