Dear Parents and Families,

The Anthony School’s Scholastic Book Fair will be held Oct. 29 – Nov. 2. Your child will be visiting our book fair with his or her class for previewing the fair and then again to have an opportunity to purchase books.

We have attached a book list for you to look at with your child. This is only a small sampling of all the great books available at our fair. Make plans to attend one of our family events below and help support our library.

Special Events

Tues., Oct. 30 – 5 – 7 pm - Family Night will consist of a Fall Festival which will include carnival type games, moon bounce, face painting, cake walk, build a book booth, bake sale (bake sale sponsored by student council) and food (food sponsored by 8th grade). Students may wear their costumes (Please make sure they are dress code appropriate. Also, no accessories, masks, or anything to frightening for our younger students).

Wed., Oct. 31 - Grandparent or Grand Guest Day for 3 year olds – 2nd grade. 3 and 4 year old guests are invited to join their students for the morning trick or treating and then to have breakfast goodies in the library at the book fair. Kindergarten – 2nd grade guests are invited to bring a sack lunch, eat lunch with their child, and then attend the book fair together where desserts will be served.

Thurs. Nov. 1 – Grandparent or Grand Guest Day for 3rd – 8th grade. Guests are invited to bring a sack lunch, eat lunch with their child, and then attend the book fair for desserts.

****Please note – For Grandparent or Grand Guest Day, we have listed preferred days, but grandparents may attend on either day if needed to accommodate siblings. Also please note, there is no special open house or program presented on this day.
