About Our Library

The Anthony School's library serves approximately 370 students and 40 teachers with a staff of one full-time librarian, Amanda Taylor. It has a collection of almost 8,000 print and non-print items, including fiction, nonfiction, video, and audio. The facility includes a storytelling theater; seating at tables for 30; comfortable casual seating including a sofa, two club chairs, bean bags, and pillows; four computer stations, a printer, and a copy machine. The computers are used primarily for automated catalog researching, Reading Counts testing and reports, and research (BigChalk.com, internet research). The printer and copy machine are used by the students to obtain research materials materials for projects, research papers, and reports.
